In the Dirt // Pt 2: Studies

These works are done in my sketchbook using mud and colored pencil ooutdoors. I quickly paint shadows as the lay on the paper with nearby dirt and define and fill in areas with brown colored pencil. They are a continuation of the photographic project titled ‘In The Dirt’ completed in 2013.
